Admission Process

Admission can be done online or physically at the school. For online admissions, all the forms are available online. It is highly recommended that parents contact the school first and arrange a School Tour or Trial Class before starting the Admission Process.

Step One: Fill Up Admission Form and Attach Documents for Registration
  1. Complete the Admission Form
  2. Submit Admission Form to admission@cranbridge.edu.my with the following:

    Documents for Application
    1. Copy of Birth Certificate – Student
    2. Copy of Passport First Page & Visa Page OR MyKad/MyKid – Student & Parent/Guardian
    3. Passport size Picture for Admission Form – Student & Parent/Guardian
    4. Previous School Transcripts
    5. Medical Records if necessary, e.g.: asthma, ADHD, allergies, etc.
    6. Business Card OR Employment Letter – Parent/Guardian
  3. Application Fee Payment:
    Payment of the application fee may be made via cheque, cash, or credit card.

Step 2: Assessment Test – Year/Grade Placement
  1. Once the school has received the Application for Admissions Form and all relevant documents, the Admissions team will contact the parent to arrange for an assessment test.
  2. The student will be placed according to their respective age groups unless the assessment tests indicate otherwise. In CIS, students are placed by their ability and not just their age. Click here for Year – Age groups
  3. All assessments belong to the school and will be kept private and confidential. The school reserves the right not to allow the placement test to be brought out of the premises physically or in any form of electronic transfer, including the soft copy of the said test.

Step 3: Confirmation of Acceptance
  1. Letter of Offer will be issued to successful applicants together with an Invoice.
  2. The acceptance of the offer must be confirmed with the payment of the Registration Fees and by signing the Parent Agreement.

School Tour

Education is an investment, so you want to make sure you are making the right decision. We invite you to visit us, especially during school hours, to get a feel of what school life is like in CIS. During the school tour, you will be able:

  1. to meet our admissions staff to learn more about the school's unique approach
  2. to see our teachers in action
  3. to say 'Hello' to your child's future classmates
  4. to view our facilities

Trial Classes

We offer up to 2 full days complimentary trial classes!
We provide complimentary lunch as well for this 2 days. Trial classes are the best way for students to come and experience school life at CIS for themselves.

*Kindly take note that Trial Classes will not be available during Examination Period and Term Break.

Trial Class Time : 10am to 3pm

Things to bring

  1. Stationary, Colour Pencils & Exercise book
  2. Water bottle
  3. Light food/snacks for 10.50am break if needed. We will provide lunch at 12.50pm

What to wear?

  1. Dark coloured long pants (no torn jeans)
  2. T-shirt/blouse preferably with no fancy print
  3. Standby jacket in case they feel cold
  4. Shoes and socks

International Student Application

The admission steps for international students is the same. The school will only start the Visa Application process once received all payments and deposits. In the event that the student or guardian is unable to obtain visa from the Malaysian Authorities (and strictly and solely for this reason alone), the parent may apply to the school for refund of prorated Tuition Fees and Security Deposit paid. Application Fee and Registration Fee are Non-Refundable. The visa process can take up to 8 weeks. We recommend that you start the visa process before entering Malaysia or as soon as you enter Malaysia.

Student Visa:

  1. Students must be aged 4 to 18 years old
  2. Students & parents must have valid passports and visas
  3. Student visa holders are strictly not allowed to work
  4. Parents holding working permits (PLKS) are not eligible to apply

Guardian Visa:

  1. The Malaysian Immigration will only provide guardian visa to one parent, usually the mother or retired father.
  2. Guardian visa holders are not allowed to work

The Malaysian Immigration may request for additional documents if necessary.
